Roman's roamin' days are over, thank goodness! This handsome young fellow is always happy to meet new friends, both human and canine. He's about 1-2 years old and weighs 34 lbs., so he's a nice medium-sized boy. Here's what his foster mom told us about him: "Roman is a sweet boy who would do wonderfully in a home with school-age children and a canine companion. He loves playing with his foster 'siblings,' and is quite the versatile athlete he likes to leap into the air and spiral around to catch balls and Frisbees. However, he does seem to have a bit of prey drive when it comes to smaller animals (he will chase our cats if they run), so a kitty-free home might be best for Roman." "He has been crate-trained and is crated for his safety when we go out, as he sometimes enjoys chewing on fabric items that we don't want him to ingest :-) He doesn't need to be crated at night, as he is perfectly housetrained; in fact, I can just picture him curled up contentedly on 'his' boy or girl's bed, keeping them warm on cold winter nights." "Roman can sometimes be cautious in new situations, but as soon as he learns there's nothing to fear, he regains his confidence. He recently paid a visit to the vet, who noticed that he seems to have allergies that cause a slight eye discharge, but a few drops of Visine clear it up nicely."
